i have not yet read the Gossip Girl books, but i do love the series.

OK, I have actually tried watching this show...I like the OC...and this is supposed to be from the same creators...so I tried it...and I just can't get into it...it is ridiculous! It is confusing...and it makes zero sense sometimes...

If this show is anything like The OC, I will stay well away, but from what I have heard it is quite a good show. Pity it only airs on cable right now.

Leighton [Blair] is gorgeous.

actually General G i think it makes alot of sense, but everyone has their own opinion =] I was a fan of the O.C but to me, it doesn't really feel like the O.C, it has it's own style.

It is just...I remember watching one episode one week...and the one guy was mad at the blond he liked for sleeping with other guys...they weren't even dating (I don't know why he should be mad at that)...that is how it ended...and then the very next week...they were boyfriend and girlfriend...being all kissy kissy and whatnot also! I didn't get it...it made no sense...

And sorry, I don't know names...

EDIT: It was the blond girl in the pics above and some other guy...

BTW...I' watched The OC from beginning to end and I can say for certain that The OC and Gossip Girl are two different destinctive shows.

Yes, I have noticed...and I prefer The OC...

I saw a commercial for this show, not sure what to make of it. It looks kind of interesting though

Its fairly interesting. I like it. You may like it if you start to watch it.

Ive completely gotten into it!!

Give it a go, u need to have watched it from the start because there are so many twists that hook me in deeper every episode.

It was a bit slow for me at the beginning but it has gotten alot better!

And the comparisons between The OC and GG are ridiculous. They both have two different backdrops, styles, stories and what not...

I suggest people give it a try, because it's very much the most distinctive show of its kind these days.
