The [insert 2D character here] would solo Tekken from a distance is merely a joke that incites laughter in at least one person I know.
The Ryo is a ripoff saying is stated seriously all the time, though me finding it obnoxious could or could not be a reason why people should stfu about it, but it failing to prove why he'd fall to another character should be a reason, unless whoever's saying it just gets pleasure out of it.
