Perhaps it is to verify the Joker in the film; as if he has carved that in every poster, as if he were alive and making sure everyone knew of his presence in the film, many Joker portrayals have shown him to love taking centre stage and a touch for the theatrics, as well as always being the top gun.

that and the fact those were pretty much the last words from Batman Begins, where Gordon first points out the Joker's existence to Batman commenting that "like you, he seems to have a taste for theatrics" or something along those lines
