ROTS Anakin Vs Plo Koon

Sabers only who wins?

This is stupid... I won't bother.

Just so I know...are you really serious?

Do we actually know anything about Plo koon's abilities.

Not that it really matter's but still.

He's set up as being one of the top warrior Jedi of the Order, and his force abilities are extremely considerable. He puts up a fight, but ultimately loses, imho.

He may put up a fight forcewise, but saberwise he is crushed by Skywalker.

indeed. They both use the same form, which Anakin is considerably better with.

Anakin knocks his mask off and he dies. (Its so satisfying actually using that argument in his favor for a change).

Unsupportable assumption.

Anakin is the bloody Chosen one of Sith's sake.
Plo koon is just an average Jedi master.

Not to side with Nerbrais, but he was the Chosen One in TPM as well but that doesn't mean he could beat Plo Koon as of TPM. Also calling Plo "average" is a little mean, he's certainly one of the stronger Jedi. However, Anakin beats him, we know that Plo is below Mace and Yoda and Mace was about even with Dooku. Dooku would beat Plo, but he got killed by Anakin. If Plo was stronegr than Anakin why was Anakin the hero of the Clone Wars and not Plo?

That's a considerable difference there, DS. And actually an incorrect comparison. Anakin, as of TPM, didn't utilize any lightsaber form. But in ROTS, there is no way that Plo could beat Anakin in a saber duel.

I agree, however, the logic that "Anakin wins because he is the Chosen One" fails.

To a degree yes. But the fact that the chosen one is meant to be the most power Jedi ever, it would play a roll. I think we actually agree here, that while the argument could work, it just doesn't work in that sense.
