That's an Easter Egg, and only in Multiplayer, where it doesn't count. And I would even give it to you if he could do it without assistance, but you can't just walk up to it and flip it, you have to do certain things first, like find an angle or use those repulsor lifts. And Grey Fox held one of the Metal Gear legs up, which would have all the weight of Metal Gear pressing down on him, which is easily hundreds of tons.
Originally posted by Shaggsok is that thing made of gold? there is no way that is 400 tons, maybe100 but probably closer to 75. sure its huge as far as volume goes but its hollow. also i agree that its an easter egg just meant as a joke in multyplayer
In game, he can flip over a 400 ton Elephant... or Mobile Oppression Palace, as I call it.
this is a link to the elephant and that would have to be made of something extremely heavy like gold or lead to weigh 400 tons

The Scorpion tank alone is a confirmed 66 tons.
So consdering that the Elephant is more than twice it's mass...
what makes you think that its more than twice its mass? just because its twice as tall and longer doesnt mean that its more than twice its mass, do you realize that its hollow, there is nothing in it to weigh it down, of course its heavyer but its not that much bigger as far as mass.
and we already excluded it because its an easter egg
Mass and weight are two different things. You could have a solid block of lead about the size of a computer, and as wide as a printer, but it would weigh more than say an office copier. And the fact that Chief can flip the Tank, is a good feat for him, flipping 66 tons is no joke, but Grey Fox held up the Metal Gear, while it was actively trying to step on him. Even if it wasn't an easter egg, he still only flipped it, not held it over his head and kept it from crushing him.

What makes it have more mass is the fact that it takes tons of more force to flip it over or even lift it, compared to the Tank.
no....just no. yes if it takes tons more force to lift it then that proves that its heavyer but there are many things wrong with what you said here are 2
1. you didnt say anything that proves that its heavyer AT ALL
2. i admited that it is heavier than the scorpion, just not 400 tons
so show me what makes it 334 tons more than a scorpion, AND prove that the fliping of the elephant is not an easter egg and not meant as a joke or stop bringing it up

That's usually how logic works, yeah.
1. you didnt say anything that proves that its heavyer AT ALL
If something takes more force to lift it is because gravity weighs more heavily on it. "Weight", is the measurement of how much pressure gravity puts on an object. Thus, it's heavier.
2. i admited that it is heavier than the scorpion, just not 400 tonsso show me what makes it 334 tons more than a scorpion,
I never said it was 400 tons heavier. I just said it's heavier.

Why should I? I don't care about this thread. I was just clarifying what you were saying. The Elephant is nowhere near 75 tons because the tank alone is 66 tons, and the Elephant is much, much heavier than it is. I would say at least 100 tons.
Regardless, I actually agree that the Elephant lifting isn't canon. So no, I don't have to prove anything.
Originally posted by KingD19actually mass directly corisponds with weight, mass is how much material that item is made up of, you are thinking of volume, a spounge has the same "volume" of a brick but the brick has much more mass so it has more weight
