She started out as a mere annoyance, goading her lover Kraven the Hunter into challenging Spiderman, after Kraven had retired. As time went by she developed into a powerful Voodoo priestess becoming a serious menacing threat to Spider Man and Daredevil.
Calypso's power has seen her return several times from physical death, so lets show the lady some respect.
