I mean what would we do, give you a free uncontested prep time scenario when everyone else had to defend their plans. Allow you to have a simulated match with no opponent to fight back. How fair is that to everyone else?

There are reasons why the prep time and environment were so short this round, because 1) I wanted to keep it simple, 2 I know people drop out all the time. At least this way you don't suffer a massive disadvantage.

As for the points I would guess you would get the standard 2 points for a win. As your opponent was a no show. Once again I will have to run it by Red.

And I liked it that way, but I didn't get to debate in this setting. Why would people drop out if the prep time/environment were long/confusing? Also, the problem I have with Trick dropping, is that he was on everyday... debating, insulting people, making long posts, etc. He also had extra weeks to prepare, and couldn't even give any info about what he was doing.

And that was what I was trying to say that there really isn't a fair way for us to really give you free experience.

And then I was pointing out that was one of the reasons for a first round setting with so little to take advantage with prep and environment. That way in case people dropped out no one would get the short end of the deal.

And I agree Trick screwed us over.

Ok, Prep is in a desserted New York City, mainly so you can steal supplies, and stuff. The two teams can't interfear with one another, and will be teleported after word. Sound good with everyone? srug

Pool A will be in an abandoned New York City

Pool C will the Amazon Jungle

Pool B retains the bubble arena as it is still in Round 1
