Riley stood in the dark wake of the nearby parking center, a single light glowing in the distance as she rose from her car, shutting the door on it behind her. The call had come almost on cue, and she feared what she would find inside, however, she stepped forward with a calmness that should not befit even a creature of the night. Opening the door, she found several people sitting around the room, looking severely agitated, and upon approaching the employee's entrance to the back, the slight muttering she had heard became clear to her, the sounds becoming words...
"I work at Burger King making flame-broiled Whoppers, I wear paper hats... ould you like an apple pie with that, would you like an apple pie with--"
She needed to see no more. "Kiryu!" Her voice rang over his, stopping him cold mid-chorus. Riley watched as her significant other turned, a slight look of fear in his eye, upon hearing her voice.
"Have we not spoken of this, Kiryu? Were we not going to quell this sort of thing from happening on the clock? I had to drive halfway across the city because your employer called to tell me that you were singing... again..."
Kiryu smirked a bit, speaking in a tongue only the two of them would know, having developed it themselves a few centuries back. "They do not understand what filth I have to aspire to in order to attain a positive means of cover, and thus I am showing them how intolerable their kind truly is."
Riley smirked, returning to him a single bit of advice. "Do not cross them. We cannot afford to keep our home paid off if you lose another source of income, not on my meager salary. Perhaps, in the very near future, we will be able to keep better pay and thus keep a home, but for now, keep them happy, not agitated. For me." She smiled a bit, showing that she understood, but must keep him in check on the clock. She turned, walking out of the building and back to her car, stopping only for a second at the door to shout back to him. "Muja oui, Kiryu!"
Avery sat in the far back corner, listening to the playback on his recorder.
"Drao tu hud ihtancdyht fryd vemdr E ryja du ycbena du eh untan du yddyeh y bucedeja sayhc uv lujan, yht dric E ys crufehk dras ruf ehdumanypma draen geht dnimo ec."

At last, he had found them...
Iris stood outside of the employee's entrance, her back against the wall. She wasn't after the girl, she was waiting for her brother. There was another man in there watching the two, that much she could tell. For that past hour she's been listening to Kiryu sing, but she still waited for him. When his sister left she didn't move, nor did she hide the fast that she was a hunter.
