Hal was most know for his talent at using his ring he mastered it and uses it to the fullest potential that's why he is the best sure Klye is create and Guy has a hell of a lot of will power but Hal's natural talent and mastery of the ring trumps them.

I think that the Guy from way back when he got the Yellow Ring could take Sinestro.
I think his craziness, guts, unpredictability and the chip on his shoulder would actually bring enough chaos into the formula, to throw off the strategic brilliance of Sinestro.

Its kinda hard to call it. Guys current fights have him using more brain instead of going in headfirst like he did back in the day. Guy has good willpower and good creativity. Can he beat Sinestro? Sure. For the majority? Not sure. I say they split it. 5/10.

I do agree with Peek in saying that Guy gets underrated.
