just to point this out, having lived in westchester, NY [white plains, actually, where maximus lobo's company had its headquarters in x-men,] it's not really THAT far from the city. from grand central to white plains is a forty-five minute trip on the local train, with about fifteen stops. westchester's a big county, but it's not more than a hundred miles from the city
