Quam to attack, Roan to defend.
The Dark Jedi springs forward at your last comment, blade stretched forward. He brings the dark saber toward you in a series of slashes intended to test you.
Child's play, Roan. You bend and sidestep expertly, just out of the reach of Quam's lightsaber. He presses toward you but you do not deign to let his saber meet yours, instead flipping away and moving down the room. Quam follows, and you have a moment to plan your response.
Your Strong Agility takes you to 15, then to 17 against Quam's Weak Strength. Point to Roan.

Roan to attack.
You stride toward Quam and initiate your attack, your sabers meeting in a dramatic clash before coming apart, then meeting again rapidly... before Quam displays his own swordsmanship. Holding his saber one-handed, he twists his blade around in such away that you start to lose grip on yours, and a final twirl sends your lightsaber skittering across the polished stone floor.
Quam follows that up using the Force to throw you backward, smashing into a plinth and breaking an ancient vase.
Your Normal Dexterity totaled at 14; his Strong Dexterity totaled at 16. Point to Quam.

Quam follows through on his attack, charging foward and bringing his lightsaber down at you.
You instinctively pull your lightsaber to your hand, and meet Quam's killer overhead swing in a vicious crash. The blades spark against one another as you push to your feet and manage to shove Quam back. He continues giving ground as you launch a series of powerful slashes, which he meets evenly.
Until your last blow knocks his blade out of position, and he lowers his defenses, requiring him to backpedal quickly to avoid taking a lethal cut from you.
Your Strong Strength against his Normal Strength wins by a point.

Roan to attack.
SO.
Math and stuff time.
Based on some calculations, I have determined that Quam must have a Saber score of 9, (equal to mine) with a strength of 3 and Dex of 5. So assuming that he hasn't xp'ed an additional point it would give him an agility of 4 as well.
He can't have a Saber of 10 because then he would have to have an Agility of 6 which he can't have. (again assuming to no XP Stat purchases)
Then, giving 2 strengths and 1 Dex. I must assume that he also took 2 of each, because why would he take more than 2 of his weakest stat? So he must have 1 dex and 2 agility left.
Also, if he uses a Dex now, it will leave me knowing what 2 he has left. So he must burn an Agility now.
So I'm going to use a Weak Dex to counter what I assume will be an Agility. And as long as it isn't a Strong Agility (which I assume it isn't because if it was he would have used it earlier) I should win! And if it is, I will tie and then win!
So Roan again goes to his swordplay and attempts to break Quam's guard with a feigned high blow, and then a twist to a low cut.
Let's test your logic...
When you feint, Quam recognizes it for what it is and only commits his blade when you move into the low slash. His blade dips and intercepts yours with great timing, much to your chagrin. He follows up by whisking his blade deftly about and driving yours into the polished floor, carving its molten path. You need to pull back in order to get your guard up.
Your Weak Dexterity totaled 13, while his Strong Dexterity totaled 16. Point to Quam.

Quam smirks, then comes at you, stepping quickly and aiming to move to your left side. He twirls his blade for a vertical chop toward your left arm.
Damn.
Well that didn't work. But he rolled 2 strong dexterities? Not fair.
Well my best move now is my Normal Agility. So lets hope he either has nothing left or goes to a strength.
Roan, seeing Quam's step, attempts to mirror the move and steps again, moving to Quam's left making his chop hit nothing but air.
The Force might be with him, hmm?
Quam's confidence in his swordplay shows through here. He plays a Weak Dexterity to your Normal Agility, granting him the bonus for a score of 16, beating your 14. Though you try to outmaneuver his footwork, his slash stops short and glides into a smooth jab. He aims the thrust where you intend to move, causing you to stop short yourself. You find yourself pressed up against the heavy pedestal again.

Putting some space between yourself and Quam allows you a quick respite, and to plan your next approach.
With five moves played, please select another set of six. Choose wisely...
Rather than stand ready and wait for you to flip up and crash down on him, Quam again relies on his swordplay. He neatly keeps a comfortable distance between the two of you, watching you maneuvers and blocking or sidestepping appropriately. You start to wear yourself out trying to outmaneuver him.
His Strong Dexterity trumps your Strong Agility, 18 to 15 after bonuses, as he tries to seal the deal.
