You Guys do know that MM is just as power as superman but without the magical problem and he is more versatile.

Energy projection in the form of his martian vision on par with superman own heat vision
and finally don't forget his biggest plot device the wish power

MM is not as powerful as Superman nor has he ever been. In fact when the character debuted, he was only able to amp his power to Superman levels for short periods of time, and then he would revert to his regular 5 ton limit. Now if this fight was The Weird vs Beta Ray Bill I would agree that he outclasses Bill, but MM gets the business handed to him all too often to be a match for Bills ferocity.
