Doesn't Superman take on Darkseid all the time?
Is it in Darkseid's normal powerset to not only nullify entire UniverseS,
but resist Universal implosions without a scratch like it is for Vangaard?
Or were there stipulations when he destroyed a Universe?
I'd like some info cause I know nothing about Darkseid.
Darkseid destroyed a universe or so after he was removed from the timeline.
Apparently if you remove a being from the timeline as powerful as Darkseid, it destroys everything. It's not within his power set to accomplish this... and there's no way he's doing that in a thread (self BFR as well).
Unless there was another time...

He didn't destroy jack,
it was the the removal of his presence within that Timeline that collapsed that Reality.
That's more of an inadvertant act.
Sorta like when Captain America was removed from Reality 311,
that Timeline was immediately destroyed because of his removal,
but then the High Tribunal Watcher re-created that Timeline
and gave it to Uatu as a gift.
Even if the Timeline Vangaard is in collapses after stomping Darkseid,
nothing will happen to Vangaard,
Vangaard evidently can withstand Universal implosions unscathed.
