i got this game.
And at first play, honestly, it was craptastic. It suck-a-doogied. I felt like i was playing a ps1 game. The controls sucked, the moves puked, the sound suuucked; it sounded like upgraded old school nes tunes. The graphics suck so bad. The sprites were horrible. I thought something might've been wrong with the 360, or maybe my hdmi cord was loose. I unplugged the cord plugged it back in first on the bravia then on the 360, confidently thinking that maybe the games' problems were technical but they weren't. I even took the game out and put in Soul Calibur 4 and then SF4 just to check if things were ok and both games worked perfectly fine. I then threw KoF back on, starting fighting and about half way through the 1st round i started lmao.
The game dissapointed me so bad, the game was so bad that it was hilarious. Maybe i gotta give i another chance or something. Obviously, and there better be, more to it than what i did in the game with quite a few characters in just the 10-15 mins i put into it.
See, this is why i never got into snk even when i always tried to. Their games just don't appeal to me at all for some reason. Samurai showdown, fatal fury, frikken, the king of monsters series, i even recently played art of fighting, and they are all just crap to me. Subpar fighting games in everyway. lol, i've had it with snk with their wordy pop titles and their engrish or japlish. It's "Fight!" not "Light!". It's "Lose" not "Rose", goddammit!
I'll stick to sf, mk, tekken, and sc. True fighting games. And maybe some d.o.a. if there's nothing else.
But KOF might be the nail on the KOFfin with snk, for me.
It's got to be the worst fighting game i've played in many years.
