Ben was standing over the soldier who had shot Jacob and removed his weapons. "You're going to die here to those things. Have fun." Ben turned around and made his way to the sewer entrance was. When he got to the mouth of it, he yelled for them. "Everyone, I know where an APC is, we can still make it out."

Tammi nodded and stood up. "I'll try." She took his arm and carefully helped him to his feet. "I thought you'd never wake up. Do you remember what happened?"

carlos strapped his rifle on. "well, you heard him, let's go." he began limping to the sewer entrance.
one of carlos' teammates came running out of the sewer, carrying 2 packs of ammo and 4 rifles. behind him came the other, holding the rest of the ammo. but one problem. the second was infected, and was already under the control of the other infected. it pulled its rifle up. "traitoprs to the horde shakll be destroyed!" he aimed it at ben and pulled thge trigger. "hahahhahahahahahahhahahahha!"
The bullets hit his armor and he rolled to the side, but the force of the bullets through him off balance. Ben spun and landed on his side. Without missing a beat, he thrust his hand into the air and an odd vapor released. Two leapers came crashing through the tunnel, and came to rest in front of Ben. "Didn't think you guys would come!"
Daran pushed against the door and finally moved it off. Underneath was a familier Hazard armoured suit, dented, bloodied, charred and scraped. Rek. "Lieutenant Mirez!" Daran, with help from Katerina, lifted the plate door, to flip and land back into the dust. Rek lay unconscious, the door had saved him from most of the explosion and after effects. "Seargent Sands. Put him into the recovery position and I'll see if I have anything to arouse him in my med-pak." He said, his voice rather serious.

From the control room, Frank got his Hazard suit, an older looking version, and locked the other soldier, unknown to him, in the com room. He tapped his com "Anyone read me?"

(Leapers cant speak, or take more than direction ordering, they are purly animalitic, like wolves.)
"Kat! Look ou-" A Leaper knocked Kat to the ground, then smothered her. Daran spun a sent it a solid kick in the ribs. It whined and turned on him. He hit it with the butt of his rifle against its skull, which caused it to stagger away and whine more. The creature snarled at the Lieutenant then leaped for higher ground, Daran raised his rifle to fire, when another pounced on him from behind with a howl, its claws piercing his back without any problems. Blood sprayed back as he collapsed forward. Daran screamed in pain then rolled painfully onto his back and delivered a sucked punch to the creatures gut. It choked and splutted blood across his camo uniform. "Bastard!" He grabbed one of his grenades and shoved it down its throat. It screeched and pounced away, its mouth frothing. It blew, sending shreds of flesh and blood across the two beings. The the first came back to finish them.
Ben turned around and started to run down the sewers hallway. "I am tired of putting my life on the line for these people." Making his way outside, he spotted the garage that he had ducked into earlier and made his way inside. He threw his helmet onto the ground and opened the main door of the APC and climbed inside. The keys were still inside and the APC was still in working condition. He made his way over to the main door and hit the switch. The door opened about a foot and stopped. "Damn it! Damn it!" He punched the door and it started to open. Ben laughed and started to run to the door of the APC.
Kat moved to help Rek only to be jumped and pushed down by a leaper. Thankfully Daran was there with her. Kat covered her face plate as the second blew, carefully eyeing the first as it made its way towards them. Slowly she backed away towards Rek. "Daran could you hold him off while I help Rek? I need to get the busted parts of his suit off and make sure he wasnt bitten." She glanced over her shoulder at Rek before looking over at Daran.
Shannon put her arm around Carlos and quietly helped him out of the sewer. "How much time do we have left?" She said into her com.
Daran scrambled up, grabbed his assault rifle, aimed, then fired. The Leaper went down as about 15 bullets hit its skull. Daran the dropped the empty weapon. "Kat! You ok?!" He dropped all his used clips into a pile and started transfering the remaining bullets to single clips. "I'll just be a minute. I need full clips."
carlos limped next to shannon as they came to the exit. he activated his comm. "ben, where's that apc you promised us!?"
carlos infected teammate continued firing. as he became more infected he lost control of the ability to speak. "tradfzrd gju dsa ort wghell gue thivllrfd!" this time his gun was blazing away at the garage door.
carlos looked at the infected. "stoopid zombie." he pulled up his rifle and capped one shot straight through it's skull. brain fluids and blood and skull fragments went flying out of the helmet visor as it literaly exploded. "headshot!"
After scrounging four clips and reloading his assault rifle, Daran moved up behind Kat, to look over her shoulder. "I've got two deep wounds on my back... need you... bandage... something." He looked Rek over. "These burnt parts... still workable. Seargent (you call Daran Lieutenant), is Lieutenant Mirez alive?" He tried to shake his delerium.
A weak pulse.
Blood was seeping out of the puncture wounds on his back. He suddenly fely dizzy and had fallen over while still beliving he was standing, darkness eat at the corners of hs vision. He yelped without knowing.
Kat nodded and pulled out some bandages from her pack. "Yes he's alive for now. I'm taking off the shattered pieces or anything that may hurt him if he tried to move. Where are your injuries?" She looked back at him in time to watch him fall. "Lieutenant!" She jumped to her feet and pushed him onto his stomach to have a better look at his wounds. "Oh my god." She bit her lip and looked from Rek back to Daran. "Shit." She put gauze on Daran, bandaged Rek as best she could for now, then returned to the Lieutenant's side and began to stitch him up.
