(1: He read your file. 2: He is infected kinda. 3: Well, the dude just told Rek and thats why he is going, but its Ben he is conserned about, he communicated with Rek (the nearest infected) that he needed help. And that Ben was there I actually guessed about the Daddy bit! Something like that, it all happened so fast, and Rek is gonna make his choice soon.)
you could have pmed your idea to me, youy scared me i though you knew something i didn't lol))
Shannon's eyes widened when Rek came into the room. Her mother wasn't with him, but she could see bandages on him. Thank god her mother was fine. The man looked from one man to another. "Put your guns down I mean her no harm."
((I though I PM'd you about it last night DB?))
'Then release her, and I'll tell them to lower their weapons.' Rek communicated. "Lower your weapons," He glanced at Ben, looked him up and down, then back to Shannons infected, zombie, Dad. Their eyes locked, Rek's eyes had a vague hungry, near infected-like, look in them. The others were just plain infected, "if he lets Shannon go. Otherwise fire at will. Uh, I mean, hold your aim." 'Let her go.. you will only lose her if you don't.' (What was your plan for Ben before this happened.. PM me.)
(I want Ben and Rek to fight sometime, if Kat and Rek do not. 🙂 )
Rek nodded, and as a show of good faith he lowered his weapon. 'Taking me down would be pointless, your...' Rek's eyes returned to the normal human blue. '...wife is just behind me.'
Sure enough (Do I have your permission?) Kat ran into the room and stopped frozen when she saw her daugter, then her infected... husband. She brushed passed Rek, getting between their angles of fire.
Lt Cmdr Mistara followed her into the room, rifle raised, but in a very slippy, drunken aim... at Ben.
Reks rifle was no-longer aimed, but was simply resting sidways, pointing at Ben's leg. Rek smiled when Mother and daughter embraced.
(Hey Kelsey, I missed you soo much! How was work?🙂 xxx)
lol missed you too and yes you have permission. it was fine got home early cuz it was raining.))
Kat pulled away and glared at her husband over her daughters shoulder. "How dare you touch her you back stabbing bastard!" He sighed and lowered his hands. "Calm yourself Kat. All I wanted to do was see her. It's been-" Kat cut in and started pushing Shannon out of the room. "Six years yeah I know. And after you left my mother, my DYING mother, at home alone with her while I was pregnant and fighting I decided to never let her see you weather you found us or we found you. Oh yeah and guess what! My mother died two days before I returned home! Shannon was left alone sitting in a hospital while doctors tried to make her decide on what type of funeral she wanted us to have!" She glanced at Rek then back to her husband. "Shoot him."
She frowned and glared at Rek for a moment. "Kat please... I just want to see my girl." She glanced at Shannon. "What do you say hun? You really want to talk to this man?" Shannon shook her head. "I remember when he left... And I remember when Grandma died holding my hand. I also remember you coming home... And how badly you started crying because you didnt get to say goodbye to your mom... No one like that should live." Without looking in his direction Kat pulled a pistol from her pocket and shot her husband in the stomach. She let him bleed for a moment, the grabbed him by the neck, gave him one last kiss goodbye, and tossed him out the window to the streets below. "His blood and screaming should draw infected... We should leave." She pulled off her wedding ring and tossed it out the window as well, watching it land on her husbands chest. "See ya in hell dirt bag." And with that both girls walked out of the room.
god i love writing drama))
Rek walked passed and returned to the Motel's entrance, but paused before entering the building. He looked up at the twilight sky above in a dark ever-glowing purple-ish blue. Beyond were twinkling stars, and the creascent moon. His eyes locked onto its soft silver shine, his senses attuned to the night. He heard the faint sounds of the undead. Their sweet, heavenly music. They were calling out to him, calling out his name, and every infected cell in his body was answering. It was intoxicating. He could taste the power, almost grab at it. So invigorating. His mind lost its human sense and he lusted after the flesh that was so near. Rek's rifle clattered to the ground, he fell to his knees, his arms hung limp, his eye's transfixed on the silver light. He couldn't see it. Rek listened to the song, his song, the song of the infected as it carried on the mind. He wanted flesh, wanted to rip it from the bone, to tear it from the body, to infect, to... Then the human in him caught up and his mind reeled in repulsion. He screamed and collapsed, head hitting hard street-kurb. The music continued in his head.

Frank, who had stayed with Carlos and Ben. Ran out into the street when he heard the scream. "Who was that?"
