Kat shrugged and rubbed the back of her neck. "Ummm... She and her brother don't know... To them mommie was in Florida visiting their father." Shannon rolled her eyes and looked down at her boots. "Which also was a lie.... Dad's dead.. Right?" Kat smiled weakly and nodded. "Uh... More or less. Well let's get moving shall we? We got some people to save."

"This is Jacob Book. I do not have much power in this portible radio, so I'll make this quick. We've arrived at the City Hall and are going to try and hold until the rescue team is able to retrieve us." The radio signal cut out and static followed by light gunfire could be heard. Jacob combat rolled away from the radio as a leaper slammed into the wall. The now destroyed radio spilled out into the floor as the table struggled to support the weight of the leaper. With a quick twist, Jacob was back on his feat and had retrieved a small lead pipe as a weapon. When the leaper regained it's bearings it turned to Jacob in just the right time to be struck in the face by the pipe. Falling back off the table and collapsing the left support, it rolled and looked at Jacob directly. In the next second, it was in the air and soaring towards him. Jacob's reaction was really the only thing he could do. He held the pipe forward and made the creature force the pipe through itself. Now the leapers body sat motionless on top of Jacob. With a sad sigh it's body sank as the air left it's lungs. With a hard shove, Jacob got the corpse off of him and dusted himself off.

"right!" carlos and his squad got in a black hawk helicopter. "we'll meet you at the rally point." the helicopter left and two others came to retrieve the other squads.

(Sorry guys, i kinda had to just up and leave. I will RP when I can but from this point on I have officially left KMC on a daily basis.)

Rek was suited and ready. Exolosives, grenades and assualt rifle all ready. He walked over to the.... 'others?' The upgraded version of the HAZMAT suits were a vast improvement over their predecessors. "General... I'm going alone. If you don't mind."

(only because... alone... ill be able to RP when I can.)

the black hawk dropped carlos and his squad off in a grass field. while in the field they were almost completely invisible. when they got to the edge, they saw the theatre in the distance. carlos activated his radio. "target building sighted. 2 hostiles visible. permission to take them out sir?"

Rek moved down the access ladder from the roof of a building and hit the ground, the suit strengthened his legs on impact. Nice feature. The chopper rose from above the building and flew over the street in front of Rek. The Lieutenants com came to life. "Good luck Lieutenant."

"Thanks." Rek cautiously moved forward and peered around the edge of the building. His HUD targeted three lifesigns on the street and a fourth in one of the buildings. After further scanning he located and triangulated his position to the City Hall.

Jack got onto a helicopter and waited for the rest of reclaimer.

Kat climbed into the Heli after Shannon had gotten situated in her seat. She slid the door shut and nodded to the pilot to take off. "Lieutenant this is Kat. Reclaimer is on their way in, we'll be right behind you."

Rek sighted the closest figure then shifted his aim down and flipped the safety over to single shot. He pulled the trigger. The shot rang out and chaffed against the road. The Lieutenant looked for a human reaction.

Jacob made his way over to one of the second story front windows of City Hall and looked out. The shot seemed to be a warning unlike the other creatures.

the commander in the helicopter above responded to carlos . "roger that, take them out, quietly."

Carlos listened quietly. "roger that, pop em' and drop em'." to 50 cal bullets flew straight and true. the zombies heads popped and they dropped to the ground. carlos activated his radio. "hostiles down, moving up." the three man team moved forward away from the field. "rek, need any help out there?"

One of the figures turned on Rek and Rek placed a bullet through its skull. His sensors told him that up head about five hundred meters was the city hall. After the second second shot everything went quiet.

(I would like to point out that Reks assualt rifle is not silenced)

Someone had fired off those shots and by the sound of them, they weren't standard military nor civilian, so there was a high chance that it was a rescue team. Fanning over the area, but failing to find anything, Jacob turned around to see a chilling sight. A creature close to eight feet tall was staring him dead in the face. Two very large wings protruded from it's back and it seemed to be more intelligent than the others. As it started to speak, it sounded as if it had multiple voice. "I am a Seraphim. Guardian of the one you call 'Ben'. He has requested that you accompany me to his base of ope-" A shot rang out a bullet his the Seraphim directly in the head, or so they thought. It turned around to look at a civilian and laugh. "You have no hope of defeating me." It calmly walked towards him. Everyone in the room opened fire on him but had no headway. It seemed that he had energy defending his body. "He won't do anything! He can only grab him if his shield goes down!" The Seraphim laughed a quickly lunged out of the way and let all of the bullets that had been sent at him, hit the civilian.

Rek suddenly heard the mutiple gun-fire shots from the city hall. He flicked his weaon over to 'burst fire' and against sense; ran round the building edge and up the road. It turned out his sensors wern't as accurate as he had thought when about twelve or so more popped up on the HUD. He spun his rifles nozzel from side to side as he ran. Shooting in the echo's directions.

Rek was about half-way to the City Hall when he saw it. He froze in place, skidding behind the cover of an abandoned car. "What the..." He could see the faint sensor echo of something big. Really big.

ack I'm so out of it! X_X srry guys))

Almost every Reclaimer was on the ground. Kat was watching the city from the sky. She saw Rek stop, but couldn't see what he was looking at. Her sensors were too far away to detect anything above a brute. Three left to repel down and head in. Shannon was the last to go down. Kat unbuckled herself and made her way back to her daughter. "Listen I know it's kinda tough out here but I'm still your mom... I love you Shannon... Be safe ok and dont try to be a hero. Your teammates aren't there for you to save. They're there to help you... Go now.. I'll be right behind you." She smiled and gave Shannon a quick hug before pushing her out. "I love you too mom... See ya down there."

(uwwww mushy)

Rek fired at the zombies slowly accluminating bahind him while trying to identify the echo as something familier, what ever it was, it had high energy readings mixed with organic issue, like a terminator from the film. He fired again.

Jacob tackled the Seraphim out of the window and into the street below. The creature let out a deafening bellow before it leveled it's sights with him once more. "Today is the day that you fall, Halfbreed." "Don't you call me that!" Jacob rushed at him but was quickly flung over his shoulder and onto his back. "You will die like the rest of you pathetic race." Jacob tried to attack again but was thrown to the ground a second time. "Human.. wait no. You are neither yet both." Jacob grimaced but finally looked up. "You're making me attack you, so that you only have to take down your shield at the last moment to defend against me."

Rek had brought his attention back to the sounds of a scuffle two-hundred and fifty meters away. He swung his rifle around and noticed the high energy readings disappeare whenever it contacted with the other fighter.... Jacob?... He fired on the creature when the attack next took place... He stood revealing his position. "JACOB?!!!!"

Jacob slung his gun to the ground and charged full speed once Rek had started a distraction. The Seraphim grabbed him before he could lay a worthwhile attack on him. In a fit of rage, Jacob slammed his head into the Seraphim's multiple times. It shrieked and flew back, but could not shake Jacob off of him. Blood spurted from the creature's helmet as most of it had been dented inwards. It threw Jacob off of it's body and tried to stand, but was knocked right back down by a pistol round to the chest. "Rek... I think we have a problem.."
