Argggggggggg!!!!

So I’m working on a new site and the client wants the Vista look to their site so I’m working on a transparent DIV to overlay on some Flash work on the site. I spend about a day getting all the bugs out and how to go about doing it, I start to test it in the different browsers on my PC and all are working fine. Then I go to the Mac’s and Safari works fine so I think all is good until I use Firefox on the Mac and then the Flash blows up. I’m like what the hell; it works in Firefox on the PC!!! Find out there is a bug in Firefox on the Mac that doesn’t allow the opacity filter to overlay a transparent Flash piece.

Go figure, IE works and Firefox doesn't.

Aero ftw?

I was gonna upgrade to Vista a while back, but I keep hearing bad things about it.

Most of the problems is with upgrading to Vista and getting old programs to work with it, buying a new computer with it installed is your better bet but have fun putting old programs on it. 😱

XP works fine for me.

Guess I'm sticking with XP

me tooz.

If you just play around on the computer such as listen to music, chat and do basic work it is OK, but if you do programing or more advance stuff it is a nightmare. It is also locked down so tight that it can be a real hassle to get programs to run.

Here is the site that I've been working on, still building it so a bunch of stuff is still not there. Rollover the conversion packages to see the thing that I've been working on. http://67.130.197.70/

It's running on Server 2003 but should work on a Lynx.
