EVANGEL94's Final Slugfest Tournament: Draft 1

Started by TricksterPriest4 pages

You have no feats that put Metron over the likes of Surfer, etc. Metron's greatest asset is his brain. He's a new god yes, but give one thing that makes him into 10 points.

the one thing that might, the Worlogog, is not in his possession.

What King Kandy Doesn't have to prove his case?

But the case against Mogo has to be proven?

Bit biased much are we?

Well just look at the 10 character category and look at those listed there.

Does Metron fit there? [/B]

In a physical confrontation (which is what the base cost is correct? so not counting the Chair abilities which he would have to buy) he's never been shown to reach even close to that level actually.

Chair is standard equip. But it's not him. Metron himself isn't that high up. Hell, you might as well count Surfer's powercosmic as separate, or his board, or the witchblade as separate from Sara Pezzini.

Please refrain from any personal comments or insults. Mogo's case has not been proven. The same situation here currently applies to Mogo as well.

If King Kandy objects, and convincingly proves his case on why either Metron or Mogo doesn't fit into the 6 point category, then they will be removed. It's also on Smurph or Trickster to also defend their choice since it is question. . I am willing to listen to both sides.

The idea here is to get peer-review going on so everyone doesn't have to rely on me. However, I have final say in the matter.

If Metron doesn't get the Worlogog (which no one in their right mind would give him) then he also shouldn't get the Mobius chair.

If he doesn't get either, I have no problem with him.

If Batman doesn't get a mother box, a boom tube, a kryptonian DNA manipulator, and his army of JLA-Robots, he shouldn't get his utility belt....

That's what I was thinking.

Kinda slippery slope logic isn't it?

Back by popular demand... *applaud**applaud* Thank you...Thank you... Although my absence has caused me to go with a plan "B", It will matter not... My superior gene pool and intellect will pull me through.

F- for just six?

Same as Strange, and the onus would be on anyone else to show why the Doctor is > Strange. They're roughly equal in most respects, so it would be awfully biased to have one at 6 but not the other.

Oh right 😂

I was just thinking about the people in the thread. Forgot you'll have to buy all the cool powers.

That's what I was thinking. Isn't the Doctor a little uber for the 6 pt category? I don't really follow the Authority, but from what I've heard he's supposed to be a powerful reality manipulator or something like that...

He is powerful, and we have him (rightly) in the Transcendent category in the tiers thread. I wouldn't pick him without good reason, but more than a few powers are neutered due to the purchase system, the big ones are very expensive, and Strange is his equal in most respects (probably better than him with proper prep) and is only 6 as well.

I get most of that and can see why he could be eligible but let me ask you this, are you talking about "classic" Strange or "current" Strange? I know they're the same character and all, but "current" Strange(which is the version that's been drafted) has been acknowledged On Panel as being weaker than he previously was which means his more Uber self wasn't the one that was drafted for 6 pts.

When's Strange accidentally created a universe?
