Cali frowned and looked up at the sky. "They should be waking now... It's not to late... We can still go back... Are you sure you want to do this?" She took another bite and looked thoughtfully at her friend.

"well we aren't goin back" dace said and corran was surprised to hear him talk

Cali smiled and looked up at Dace. "Ah, so now he speaks. I knew you'd open your mouth sooner or later. What are you running from my friend?"

"the usual" dace said as corran smacked his forehead

Cali grinned and tossed the stick belonging to her fish aside. "How usual? We've had reports coming into base camp. Would you two have anyting to do with them? You seem worried Corran."

"just the alliance of light," dace said casually "there goes our secret" corran sighed

She jumped to her feet and took a fighting stance. "The AOL is after you? Are you two with the UOF?! Severine get behind me!”

"no it's quite the opposite" corran swallowed and pulled out a ring from his pocket, it was a ring that said who he was Corran Thorn Chief Advisor

Cali's jaw dropped when she saw the ring, and her stance grew limp. Eventually she fell to her knee, dumbfounded and speechless. "But..... But your.... Why?"

"they dont listen, and this war will never end" corran shrugged and noticed dace was quite again, he didnt blame him at all and didn't find it wierd

Cali was quiet... What could she say? She almost attacked higher ranks. With her mouth still open she turned and looked up at Severine as if saying 'HELP!'

"relax we aren't milatary no more" dace told cali and corran thought for a moment "depends what we can get out of this" corran said with a smirk

Severine gave her friend Cali a wink, and threw some more berries into her mouth.

'Sooo,' She said with a mouthful of food. 'Are we ready to make a move. Because I kinda walked off the camp, and my sister will be awake about now, and who knows who she has told.'

Her eyes fell upon Corran. 'That ring you have is pretty special. I'd be careful who you show it to.' The she got up grabbed her cloak and staff and looked back at the others.

'Are we leaving or just going to stand there debating it!'

Cali sighed and slowly pushed herself to her feet. "I feel like an idiot so lets get out of here before anything else happens... And before your sister finds us... If she does she'll have my head for letting you leave."

"i was actually thinking about selling it or just chucking it in some lake, let some midget or something find it hundreds of years from now, you know the usual" corran joked to the two, while dace had left his back at camp corran figured the ring might come in handy eventually

the afternoon sun made a shadow outside of ragnok cave. he walked out. it was covering the castle by then. he walked up to the window of etains bedroom. once he saw that she was okay, he checked in on nero. walking through a forest some where. ragnok sat on his stone pillar and watched the path to the castle.

'My sister is really not that bad!' Severine said to her friend Cali. 'Anyway shall we move it already' She turned to the two men. 'I wouldn't chuck it! keep it, myabe you could see it for food. But I am guessing by the way you are dressed that money wouldnt be an issue for you anyway.'

Cali stayed quiet as she waited, stilltrying to figure out why these two were running. Ah well, she didn't even know why her and Severine were running. Then she got an idea, a crazy but might work type of an idea. "Hey... What if we went to go talk to the Goddess of Light. Maybe she'll know what we should do... She's all nowing right, so maybe she has some ideas."

"gods are beings who think they deserve to command everyone, no we will go to town" corran sternly said to them as he packed up his stuff. dace did the same and splashed out the fire "let's go" dace said with no tone in his voice

Cali sighed and nodded, shouldering her pack and glancing back at her friend. "This is going to be an interesting group.... Promises to be a very fun trip."

Etain smiled and spoke to Ragnok through his mind. "What do you see my pet? All is well I trust."
