I fear that there's not going to be anything new in theaters for a while... they're gonna re-release everything in 3D.

I heard in the US the 2D version of 3D films are going up steadily in the box office. Guess the trick is over... or people are just not making it right. The only one I thought really worked well was Avatar and some animated movies. Although, in general it doesn't add much. Except for Avatar.

But they fall again for the trick of Binks once more...

Well, I like seeing 3D in the IMAX... though if the movie sucks, 3D didn't help. TinTin was nice, but I'm sure when I get it on blu ray I'll enjoy it just as much in 2D.

Avatar blew donkey balls. And I even agree with Cameron's propaganda. The story just sucked, too simple and black&white. Yes, it was pretty to look at, but to me that still didn't save it.

I didn't used to think 3D was all that great, but it depends on the movie. It's more than worth it for some things. Immortals kicked massive ass in 3D.. and in RPX (or whatever) it was f#cking loud and amazing. My jaw literally dropped during that. Hugo was also an impressive 3D film, kid-friendly though it is.

I only saw it 2D I have it on bluray, and have had it all year, but still I havent watched the Bluray yet.

I prefer Aliens, from him.

I think its a pretty good film, but with many faults as Plinkett points out.
