Is Elvis really THAT overrated? I mean, he was revolutionary for his time... And he had some really good songs...
I'd probably replace him with someone else, like:
Nirvana (AC hit the nail on the head with these guys)
AC/DC (good, but not as good as other hard rock bands, like Van Halen)
Guns N Roses (really good, but not as good as people make them out to be)
Maroon 5 (they aren't that good, imo)

They sold out in 1991 (what a year for sell outs 😉 )... If Cobain hadn't killed himself, they'd have been on top of the charts for a little while longer, until the crap eventually surfaced, and they were forgotten (THEN Cobain would have killed himself)...
And AC, I said I liked AC/DC, and that they are a good band, I just don't think they are the "amazingly awesome end-all-be-all rock gods" that everyone says they are... Just because I think AC/DC are overrated doesn't mean I don't like their music...
And Airbourne is pretty good... They haven't done anything that would make me think them to be overrated yet... Nobody I know praises them as the second coming of Christ (like AC/DC, unfortunately), and I don't see Airbourne in the top 5 of every "Best of Rock" lists from now till forever, even though there are better bands, imo (again, unfortunately, like AC/DC)...
Nirvana wasn't the most talented band ever, but then again, how many really bad Nirvana songs are there ? Not many in my opinion. Even the so and so songs are still pretty good.
The most overrated artist ever is Elvis. Not that I don't like him - he's okay - but it's not like he wrote his songs himself. At least Kurt Cobain wrote his own songs (music and lyrics).
