Scathan isn't as powerful as the LT. for all we know, Scathan was as powerful as an Mbody of the LT. The LT exist in all multiverses simultaneously. At best, protege copied the powers of an M body multiversal LT body. So Scathan at best is multiversal. which is probably why that version of the LT had to use an amulet to power himself up.
