That's just plain stupid. If the sources were satisfactory and complete, and I could review them, I'd comply. No direct sources have been forthcoming. I asked for specific wording and page numbers and everything. I've provided as much in previous arguments. No one has been able to offer them. I didn't make the claim, therefore the onus is not on me to prove up. If you're making the claim, DS, prove up. Or you can ask Escape or LS to provide the specifics. I'm not unreasonable. I simply don't see any proof other then "NEC says he's the best!". That doesn't compel me. I want more than that. The unexamined life is not worth living. I don't take all sentences literally and unexamined; neither should you.

Have I not already made it clear that I am not the one making the claims, therefore I do not have to run off and search high and low among SW EU for the quote to analyze it. Those making the claim should provide it, or at least the specifics of finding it so I can evaluate it and put it into context. I am not moved by the version of context applied by members here (IMO type sentences). There's something disturbing about how much leeway Sidious is given simply because of these lines from reference materials.

Secondly, most people with a sense of humor might find my signature to be funny and witty, not a blatant attempt to flame or bash people. It coincides with my own views that this subforum is way, way too Sidious-happy, but I didn't list any names. If you take it as personal bashing, that's your issue.

Thirdly, I'd appreciate it if you didn't bash the entirety of EoD simply because some of the members have disagreed with you and you've been warned and banned previously for trolling and bashing yourself, along with making obtuse observations and refusing to back them up. So yeah, have some respect for the people on the forum who are not an extension of the debating here. If that's all you see than you are blind.

What I just did is exactly what YOU have been doing all along Janus, so you proved my point. The members at EOD seem more like a clique at times (although not so much anymore), and would bash ANYBODY who disagreed with them. On here, the premier debaters such as LS and Escape go out of their way to be polite to people, no matter what. You and some of the guys at EOD are very smart but you often let subjectivity get in the way. At the end of the day who really gives a shit Janus? It's just Star Wars.

As far as politeness here, the current elite aren't very different from previous regulars. All regulars indulge in bashing, sharp remarks, or worse. Btw I have never called myself a debater seeing as how I've never done it, nor taken a class for it. This is all a learning experience and you have really taught me (as Escape has said), that being an intelligent person doesn't equate to being a skilled debater..

No, you've been contrary to me in every thread these past few weeks and quick to bash or get a jab in when it suits you. When you debate, it's all "IMO" type shit, and everyone else around you has to pony up and offer real reason and resources. I may not agree with Escape or LS on a great many things, but I recognize that they are capable of logical arguments and they know the source material quite well. Both of them make up their own minds on source material.

Not many people have. It doesn't take serious classical Logic and Reasoning classes back to back to make sense of some things. I doubt very much that most of the high-end debaters on KMC or elsewhere have had such classes. They simply use their brains and don't just accept what's handed to them or told to them wholesale. I'm glad you like to play "I'm just learning all this" Amateur when you're backed into a corner for lacking in substance, though you'll play cowboy in any thread when someone clearly less aggressive or inferior gets in your way.

And I'm glad you take Escape's words for gospel, seeing as you're riding off of his arguments left and right. I hope he keeps you afloat seeing as you can't fend for yourself.
