Kids generally miss the allegory anyway, as was pointed out earlier with Narnia. Symbolic thought can be tricky even for adults, as many opinions in this forum can attest to.

Still, it's a free thinker's version of Narnia, and more fun imo.

i dont believe he "killed god" thats retarded. he killed an angel that claimed to be god. HUGE difference bud. and it isnt symbolic, its just a great story. and im not a kid.

do yourself and i a favor and read it. its truly a great book and that abomination is nothing like the actual story. plus the voice for the dragon was just flat out gay 😐 trust me its one of the best fantasy series ive EVER read, and fantasy is my fav genre. dont compare that piece of shit movie to the book.

Atheists aren't any more moral or immoral than the religious - it all depends on upbringing. I'm an agnostic that was raised Catholic, and I consider myself to be of somewhat solid moral character.
