I want it to be a force user, even if it's a very weak one. I guess I could study starships and such, so I wouldn't mind a leader role either, if you think we have use of that. Could need occasional help with technical parts and terms though. But doesn't have to be leader, so I wouldn't lock myself on that.
Well, there are a lot of options for you still.
As one in the Republic, you could be a Republic spy or saboteur. Maybe a sole, or one of few survivors of an already raided planet. Maybe a prisoner that escapes, or simply a Warlord 😛
The Imperial Alliance and Banis Sith is also, of course, open. A pilot, trooper (Well seasoned and ranked), engineer, dark Jedi and so on. There are loads of options 😛
Take one step at the time and decide affilation first, then you can move on to gender, and then reputation/influence/rank and then where to deploy this character and with how much resources.
Sweet suggestions. I'll wait and see what Jedireaper thinks. I don't want to be a darksider/evil character. So much I do know. So dark Jedi and so is out of the question.
I'm not too good on the whole commanding thing though, so me as a Republic Warlod would end up with the Republic dying extra quickly 😂 Notthat I wouldn't mind giving it a go. A spy/saboteur/prisoner sounds kinda neat as well. Unfortunately, what that character can do is fairly limited.
A pilot is something I don't want to be 😛 Engineer sounds cool, but again very limited.
I'll just wait and see what JR has to say. He knows better than you and I both what's needed 😛 Besides, I want to carry some weight as well and not dump all the technical and war parts on you two and JR in particular 😉
Well the Imperial Alliance has open spots for secondary characters but all the main character spots are out, a Jedi on the light side is possible but not really feasible as you would not be involved for much of the plot and be alone, it was different when EH was here, he used to control the light side, thus anybody wanting to play on his side had someone with them to RP with, while I honestly do not mind helping by creating a Jedi, or some faction of Jedi, I cannot... firstly I have my limited of named characters, I can't handle any more, but... right now, unless EH returns, another lightsider is a little out.
I really do not know what to say that may help you, OF's bounty hunter disappeared altogether after a few posts as she was not nesessary, and not part of anything important enough to do anything with.
There are always someone who thinks differently. But in comparison to the Republic and Imperial Alliance, anything else would be an ant in size. You have plenty of options, but not all that many which give you lots of openings I guess.
If you want to roleplay, the best thing to do is put your character in the Imperial Alliance or unit of Rhonin. Since you're not much for evil, Imperial Alliance is the lesser of two evils. Not sure what you could go with at that point, though.
