7 carrack class cruisers materialized out of hyperspace outside of hoths asteroid field. they began a large upward manuever trying to find a way through the field. 4 of them were heavily damaged and barely capable of hyperspace flight. "attention imperial alliance. we are kanjo's avengers. we require assi-" an explosion cut off the transmission as on of the asteroids stripped with a mine smashed into the command cruiser, destroying its communication relay. a tie fighter intercepter accompaned by four other tie fighters unclipped from the sides of their respective cruisers and began to navigate the fields, carving an indirect path towards hoth. droid starfighters began to surround them, preparing for a fight if it became neccesary.
grand admiral gren jalos watched from the bridge of his destroyer ship as the fighters began to lower into a small landing bay a kilometer off. he grimaced as his binoculars sweeped over a symbol on the fighters wings that he recognized all too well. a battle droid approached behind him. he turned and spoke to it briefly before it began to walk back to the turbolift that led to the underground base.
t709-2 began the long journey, its robotic artificial inttelligence reviewing the facts. it had been ordered to capture the just arrived kan kore before he made it to admiral vassisk or jacen. he had also been ordered to kill any bodygaurd accompannying the verpine mercanary. t709-2 or more commonly known as tisev had decided to go to the armory and equip with a stun cannon instead of a cattergun and some heavy armor plating. as the droid in the arms room fitted him with his chosen equipment, he went over his plan in his head. he stepped down from the pedestal of metal, ready to hunt his target.
kan cursed the air as he ran, jumping over crates and pushing through crowds of techies. behind him a monstrous hunter battle droid was chasing him, riding a speeder bike. kan turned a corner and pushed through some doors into a cantina. "someone help me!" he gasped out in horror as behind him, the droid stopped and dismounted. it raised its cannon and spoke in a tinny voice. "it'll be over quicker if you stand still." but kan turned and fired his scatter pistols into the droids armor, the pellet bouncing off harmlessly. the droid made a sound like chuckling as kan jumped behind the bar, dodging a blast. he searched for the alert button, which he knew was there. he found it just as the droid smashed through the bar and turned and his finger depressed the button just as he went unconcious from a stun cannon blast. the droid picked up his limp body and drug it back to the speeder bike just as stormtroopers began to file in.
