(That move could work. A healing trance is a near-death state and if it could only get applied it should recover the body adequately. The injury was quite nasty though and the body might lack the components required to actually regenerate. A bacta tank would be a necessity even if what Q'Anilia attempted worked. The Force can't do all the work with an injury that big)
Ghost Six merely nodded, although concerned for their injured trooper and she sat down and powered up every system in the ship. She applied power to the shield first of all and it held adequately. "The exit is still sealed. We'll have to make one. Hold on"
She raised the ship from the ground and backed somewhat first, knocking a walker down in satisfaction with the rear and then raced through the docking bay and crashed at the wall of the starship, quaking their own ship significantly. A good amount of rounds at the ship wall and they crashed through. Although not safe yet, she opened communication "Hold on tight. Might be a bumpy ride" she stated as they soared out of the ship. "This lady better be worth it" she muttered where she sat, thinking about those that never made it of the ship.

(I'm not some literature professor, so don't sweat it, dear 😛)
Banis turned and smiled at Daran. She walked up to his side with her hands behind her back "Malacia is a Jedi technique with which the Jedi used to turn their opponents own equilibrium against them. It's a technique that cause extreme dizziness and nausea. While developed by Jedi, it's a twisted technique. It makes your opponent lose almost all sense of balance and focus and often has the weak vomit" She paused, placing her hand on his shoulder. She could sense his anger well. It didn't matter who he was angry with, really. It made him more manageable "When fighting a more competent foe, this technique can prove very useful. If you are to battle a more powerful foe, say a Miraluka, in saber or with the Force, this technique can save your life and be the end of theirs" Malacia was a rare technique that Banis herself rarely used. She had used it once at a band of stormtroopers, but after having witnessed uncontrolled vomiting from a dozen grown men, she decided against it for future use.
It could prove useful in the hands of Darth Sear though. His current hate for the Miraluka, while most probable to fade, could drive him to foolish things. Q'Anilia in question could prove highly resiliant to the technique, but even the slightest touch of nausea could have her guard dropped and give one such as Sear an opening. There was a lot Sear had still to learn, but the time with his choice drawed near. For now, Banis had to teach him what she could that would get him to walk out of a clash with Q'Anilia alive, forced to expect that a situation of the sort might happen.
He was confused. Angry. Young. Banis would do what she could to avert his anger from Q'Anilia, fearing for the well-being of her apprentice, and this could not be done through lessons through the Force alone. But there were a couple of techniques that Daran could learn from her that would aid him in a possible clash. Although despite his anger, she doubted that he was willing to clash with the Miraluka.
