so jacen held a debriefing on the command bridge of the base. they summed up what hapenned and jacen told dackya to kill the captain due to his lack of information since he wasnt even informed of the whole plan, he then waited for sear, who he found out the identidy of due to the mandalorians having their helmets cans manually turned on because of them taking the oppurtinity to be spies, this means jacen knows who sear is, but sear shouldn't know that unless one of th 20 something people who were involved in the debreifing is his spy, which is unlikely considering mandalorians fiercely loyal, and almost all of them are high commanding officers.
jacen waited patiently in his room with santana while joker, stele and juno were part of a very discreet search team (looking for sear), in which nobody was wearing uniforms except joker's hat. they were searching all the cantinas, clubs, and the one casino that was in the city the find sear.
Sear sat at one of the Sabacc tables in the Casino, with a moderate collection of chips in his stack. He had just paid into both the sabacc and the hand pots for the current round. A typical game of sabacc is usually composed of several sequential rounds, and would officially end when a player wins with one of three special winning hands.
At the start of each round, each player contributes an ante to the hand pot, which goes to the person with the winning hand at the conclusion of that round of play. Similarly, at the start of each round, players also contribute an ante to the sabacc pot, which can only be won by a player who's winning hand is either a pure sabbac, which holds a value of either twenty-three or minus twenty-three, whilst going over or under these respectively institutes a bomb-out; an automatic loss sometimes requiring the player to pay a penalty. With the former numeric value trumping the latter, or by holding an Idiot's Array, a hand containing a card called The Idiot, worth zero, a Two of any suit, and a Three of the same suit. When laid out on the table, an Idiot's Array is read, literally, as oh-twenty-three, and is considered the highest hand in the game, beating even a pure sabacc of twenty-three. A win with any of those three special hands will give that player both the hand pot and the sabacc pot, and is typically seen as the end of game-play for a single game.
Sear's hand currently consisted of the Mistress of Sabres with a value of positive thirteen, and two face cards; Demise valued at minus thirteen, and Moderation valued at minus fourteen. This brought the face value of his cards to minus twenty-seven plus thirteen, bringing his total to minus fourteen. It wasn't a bad hand depending on the randomiser that was in effect.
His main opponent, a Rodian, sneered across the table at the Sith Lord blissfully unaware of the situation he was in. The Rodian added to the sabacc pot, and was dealt for another card. Sear met his bet and raised by another twenty Galactic credits. The dealer droid declared a random number and his face card value changed from twenty-seven to thirty-six.
Sear grimaced, suppressing a smile. He now held a sabacc hand. He already sensed the scout team that was searching for him, as their emotions were painstakingly controlled and concentrated, while everyone around him were in a varying state of drunken stupor, or losing or winning. Meaning that picking out calm minds was not difficult.
The Rodian laid down his hand. A minus twenty with the idiot card. Sear laid down his cards, and the Rodian was forced to pay the hand pot into the sabacc pot while the hand pot went to Sear's stack.
"Firmus Farbe wins the hand pot!"
Sear glared at the Rodian for a moment and smiled at his assumed identity, knowing that very shortly the entire casino may discover his identity.
