Daran nodded and started off down the hallway to the main entry and exit point.
From out side came the buzzing noise of a shuttle touching down and accompanying the sound of the X-Wings of Shadow squadron as they flew overhead. Several men and a woman walked down the ramp. Two were wearing the uniforms of Fleet troopers, their white oblong oval helmets and visors reflecting the spotting lights from the Lambda-class landing vehicle. They moved ahead of the two figures in the middle who wore the classic gray and navy jumpsuit and flight gear of Shadow squadron, in the style of the New Repulic/Rebel Alliance pilots. They strolled sown the ramp, helmets under their arms.
Daran waved at the door and it opened at his behest as the Force activated the inner locking mechanism, he then walked out into the atmospheric shielded air of the base.
"Daran!" Called one of the pilots in a familier voice, waving as he did.
Daran nodded. "Yes!" He replied.
The pilot slightly behind the other, raced forward. Tyri took Satana in a big hug, smiling at her. "It's good to see you again, Sat'." Julius's wife looked over at Daran for a moment as he spoke to her husband, and then back to Satana. "We were all worried when you left! You could have contacted us..."
Daran steered Hetar to the side. "You are to keep this silent to yourself and your unit, commander. I'm trusting you with this."
Julius glanced over his shoulder at Tyri, and smiled. "I'm sure that won't be a problem, every body here is part of the Shadow's support crew so no-one else will be informed if you so dee it, m'lord."
Daran flinched. "Please, old friend. Don't call me that, I wish to refrain from that reference. But the objective hasn't changed. You remember what I told you three years ago?"
Julius nodded and turned and headed off torwards Tyri and Satana, smiling. "Hey kid, how are you?"
Satana, taken by surprise, stiffened when Tyri hugged her. But she couldn’t resist. It did feel kinda good to be back. “Yeah, well I had a sith’s blade in my stomach so there wasn’t much I could do.” She grinned and pushed Tyri off of her with a playful shove. “So you missed me then, Mrs. Imperial?” Her eyes shifted over to Daran and Julius. She was suspicious, but forced a friendly smile when Julius approached. “About as good as I’ll ever be.”
jacen watched the streaks of light for a moment before turning to J&J
"joker, Juno get some rest, you no good if you cant stay awake" jacen told the two who nodded and went to their shared room.
"that goes for the rest of you, get some rest" jacen told them before he turned around and left the bridge to go to his room, which wasn't to far away.
he went inside and immediately took off his armour, placing each piece on the maniquin for it, he dressed in simple loose garb and a jacket. he sat on the floor and began meditation.
"It's Hetar actually." Julius said in response to the comment about Mrs Imperial. "We're married, now. And yes we all missed you."
"A sith's what?" She whispered, perplexed for a moment and gave Satana a look of 'we'll talk about it later' then just chuckled, covering up her discomfort. "Of course we did you silly kitty, it's only been three years, have you forgotten about us in all that time."
"You forgot about us?" The commander asked, shifting his helmet to his other arm with a grin forming at his lips, "we'll just have to leave a bigger impression this time."
Both Tyri and Julius laughed, and motioned to the shuttle. "You coming with us?" Tyri asked, a smile on her lips.
((they did really miss you by the way))
Daran walked ahead, only looking back to check once before he boarded the shuttle.
One flight of X-Wings circled up above keeping an eye out for threats.
