"Actually your right. But it is possible to wire their brains so they become Force sensitive. We know this because our researchers and docters have performed surgery on several of the creatures and have located a node on the creatures brains not unlike the node within our own brain that as of yet scientists were unaware of its use or what it was for. What we did was wire that part of the brain backwards and re-introduce them into the wild. The effect was that of the Force sensitive Ysalamiri didn't like being near Ysalamiri from Myrkr. Of course we have prfected this surgery on humans too although we havn't tried a Jedi yet." Vassisk smiled. "Now... You were trying to prove me wrong?"
*With permission*
The Sith Lord looked at Corran with an insideous grin then, then swept into the hall after the two Imperials. As he left the far reaches of the Ysalamiri Force bubble he felt the universal awarness return to his mind. The Force filled his body with power and for a short moment he could feel the Dark-side aura fall around him; until it was once again ripped away by another Ysalamiri Force bubble. He reached the Imperials.
"First I need you to set up a more solid ground based defense system. Gren. General Geion will help." Vassisk entered a tactical room. "Ok. Conquest. Lieutenant: Tactical map of the galaxy." With that a holo display lit up and filled the room with stars. "We should start with Bespin. Its an hour from here and then onto Hefran, Yag'Dhul and then Lenthuul." The planets suddenly highligted and a line plotting possible hyperspace jump courses. "I will be sending a Garrison to Tattooine. Only a small one. Right now we really need a plan." Vassisk nodded to the holo operator. It zoomed in on Hoth. "The asteroid field here will provide great cover for our ships and I have already organized asteroid mining ships from Sluis Van to begin to mine and I have also rigged a cargo transport to stay with the miners." He stood back. "And with the growing threat from the Jedi we have much to cover. Ideas?"
"in our mining operation, any asteroid mined of all useful substance could be set with a anti emp mine or an orbital defense cannon. the emp mine would short out a ships shields and the orbital cannons could finish the job." gren turned and waved off the trandoshan. "perhaps if our ships came out of hyperspace from different directions. like if vassisk's fleet went left for a bit then appeared in deep space, then went towards the planet. and the sith lord went right then turned towards the planet and jumped again and my fleet went forward. our fleets would come out at different positions at the same time." he grinned "and of course as my fleet did before. all ships focus fire on one ship at a time to bring them down almost instantly. thats a technique i have taught repeatedly to my captains.
"Yes. Interesting strategy but if your ships are being attacked by multiple enimies then you would not be able to do that. That would require neumrical advantage. We wont always have that." Vassisk stepped forward. "And yes the anti-orbital cannons will be in-place once we have taken Hefran. Hefran contains the storehouses and factories that produced anti-orbital cannon housings and also produced transparisteel viewports for Star Destroyers. Because of the jungle environment we may have to land a small ground force to take the factories and warehouses." Vassisk stood back and nodded to the operator. The holo became that of Hefran. A dark green planet spotted with brown, orange and one large mass of blue. "Our intelligance indicates that an 'Imperial' garrison guard the facility under a Moff..."
"Moff Denk Jerrdon, sir."
"Thank-you, Lieutenant." Vassisk nodded. "Denk Jerrdon. He was appointed by Palpatine for the position just before the battle of Endor. Oh the Emperor had good reason to give him the job; he is the classic Imperial dictator, cold, cruel, heartless. I will lead that operation. Gren: I trust you can deal with Lenthuul(make it up as you go). It is purely an agriculturial planet with mostly farmers and producers so it should be easy enough to convince the planetary governor to allow the take-over legally. Just be persuasive. Voltar: I want you to do me a little favor. Go to Kessel, I'll supply the location, and I need you to steal me a shipment of spice. Although only use that as a decoy, I actually want you to go to the Maw. At the centre of the blakhole cluster is an old imperial research base. You may find Imperials still in there, if you do, kill them and look for a weapon that is like a lightsaber call it a darksaber if you will or an invisiblade, once you have done that, commandeer a vessel called a Shadow cruiser and head for Wayland. You have the coordinates for the planet Wayland encoded. You will find the codes to decode it in the Maw. Ok gentlemen, keep this a small operation. Nothing overkill, ok." Vassisk turned to Voltar. "And if you actually manage steal some spice, reduce Kessels defences to ashes, and release any prisoners under its rule then I will train under you." He indicated the lightsaber.
The Stormtrooper squad walked into the room that Corran was being held in. One of the Stormtroopers approached the held in place Jedi. "Droid. Leave." The trooper ordered in a filtered, crisp metallic voice.
"Oh? Yes, right away." The droid headed out of the room.
"The Stormtrooper stood a couple of centimeters from Corrans face. "Good evening... Jedi." The trooper said with sarcasm. "I hope your bath was," choosing words carefully, "pleasurable." The trooper set his blaster over to high stun and locked vizor's with corran's closed. "Meditation is over. Jedi." The trooper spun and fired four stun blasts at the other Stormtroopers. All collapsed life-less. The trooper walked over and unlocked up the Ysalamiri frame from its wall mount. The trooper then walked back over to Corran and hooked the Ysalamiri frame to the white plastoid armour. "Suprised?" The trooper asked and reached down to turn off the oil bath and righten the grate Corran was fastened to. Switching the blaster rifle over to its lowest blaster setting the trooper shot the restraints allowing Corran to fall free. The trooper helped him up.
