I had a kidney infection this past September.
It was terribly painful. My back was hurting were my kidneys are.
I was constantly going to the bathroom with the urge to go pee but nothing and sometimes only a trickle of urine would pass. Doing that was like having birthing contractions when I was in labor.
I was nauseous and puking. Fever set in and I could barely get out of bed when I decided to go the doctors.
The Dr told me I had a bladder infection that turned into a kidney infection.
If you have a kidney infection or suspect that its possible, I urge you not to wait to go get checked.
Regardless of how your mom is.
Your health is more important.

Gosh yeah, this weekend I was REALLY bad like my lower (bladder) pains would come in intervals and I'd have to start moving around and moving my lower body to try and help with taking focus off of the pain. It'll go away, come back, go away, come back. I'll get the pains around 30 seconds to 1 1/2 mins appx. and they come every hour or so. I've also had back pain that I thought was "something else" and though it's gone now, it was unbearable when I had it..even pain killers wouldn't help. I know it's not a urinary tract infection because I have no trouble urinating or anything but it's almost freaking like someone has something constantly pressing down on top of my bladder forcefully even though I don't have to pee or anything. 🙁
It could be a bladder infection. Ive had those too and they are just as bad. One time I had one so bad, I was peeing blood.
It snuck up on me and my sorry ass ex thought I was faking it and wouldnt take me to the doctor :cry: so I walked. What shoulda only been a 5 minute walk as we lived only a block away, it took me 30 minutes. I was doubling over in pain so bad.

He was was sorta sorry afterwards but got pissed at me cuz it was Halloween night and I couldnt go with him to take the girls out.
I could barely breath without hurting and walking to the doctors did me in more.

I'm tired of feeling like shit and I'm actually scared because I'm really prone to UTIs I guess because I've had more than one and my very first one was at 16 or 17 years old and I'm almost 19..I've only been to the doctor about one though but the rest I have cloaked with cranberry juice.
But shit, I doubt this is a UTI, I barely have any of those symptoms at all.

In fact, any time the vaginal area is rubbed, bacteria can be pushed into the urethra. You can get a bladder infection from oral sex too. Infections are also common in women who wear tight jeans.
