this is how it works, arkady can release the death spores into the air like a he is a radioactive object or he can channel the "death factor" through his tendrils in a more focused life drain.
he needs to release the death factor in his body lest it destroy him internally.
the focused release through the tentacles replenishes his vitality as well as transfers the death factor(not at the same time though).
if cap got caught by the tenticles (if arky had the factor in this fight) cap doesn't have the strength or leverage to loosen the tenticles = game over.

actually omega red really does not get weaker from not draining life force, not in the way you are thinking. It take weeks before it really would show, which of courses this fight won't last that long.
this fight kinda dumb and would be over in seconds, also capt stands no chances of putting red down

I'm pretty sure the fight would last more than a few seconds.
Also, Caps super soldier serum may make him immune to Reds death factor like how logan's HF does it.
Capt prob loses, but he'll put in a good fight.

also capt serum is nothing like wolverines healing factor and that is quit rediculous to assume it would make him immune to having his lfie forces drained.

Capt won't put up a fight period. He completely out class in this encounter and will loses in seconds

Omega Red would beat capt even worses and far easier given his abilities.
Red touches capt it game over. Capt can't put red down, Red easily fast enough to catch capt. If capt hits red he will be drained of his life forces.
Capt can't win and will be utterly destroyed.
