The Jedi and the Mandalorians commenced their approach to the tomb. There were no beasts on the surrounding area, which gave the impression of a trap or a not-trustable environment. They approached slowly to the entrance, their guards up, waiting for something to happen. Nothing did.
"Alright, group. Let's move," Jel-Kor said as he took the lead walking up the ramp into the entrance of the Tomb.
As the group entered the tomb, they immediately felt the sudden boost of dark energy within the tomb, as well as the danger lying deep inside the structure. They knew the tomb was crawling with Terentatek, but they didn't care how many were there, they were only interested in blowing the hell out of the place. And that's what they were gonna do.
Denzral followed them in. He stood to the side and simply waited for orders. He didn't like the idea of not having his lightsabre but he still had his blaster hidden behind his robes if he needed it, and he also had the Force, though which side he didn't know. "I have a bad feeling about this." He said wearily, glancing at Reki and some-how knowing that he had caused her harm, but also knew he had simply moved her away from him so he didn't have to fight her and thus possibly kill her. On some Force aspired term he had saved her from getting seriusly injured.
Reki kept her eyes sharp, using the force to keep her 360 degrees of sight. Her hands rested on the butt of her lightsaber. She frowned and watched Denzal without looking at him. God he kept giving her that 'I'm saving you life' look. Every one did. She sighed and looked down at her feet, keeping a visual of the area around them. As far into the darkness as she could see anyways.
Finally, and surprisingly enough, without encountering any beast along the way, the group reached the center of the tomb.
"This is the perfect place," Jel-Kor said, examining the surronding area. "We should place the bomb here. Make sure tha---" He was interrupted by a deafining roar coming from a tunnel on the right. The roar was unnatural, it was nothing the group had ever heard before, and it was followed by some less-intimidating roars.
"It cannot be," Jel-Kor said in astonishment as he turned around to face the tunnel. "It doesn't sound like any common Terentatek... It sounds much bigger... Uh-Oh.."
Reki slowly turned and stared off into the dark corridor. "Jel-Kor... What is that?" She had a hunch, but she hoped she was wrong. "Please tell me I'm wrong... God no wonder why we havent come across any Terentateks." She drew her saber, but didnt ignite yet. Slowly she backed away from the mouth of the tunnel, having been a little too close for comfort.
As the group prepared to move, the floor shook. Each step the creature took made the ground shake aggressively. "It's getting closer..." Jel-Kor said, turning around facing the tunnels once more. "It's here...!"
And there it was. It was a HUGE beast, six times the size of a common Terentatek, and it was standing twenty five meters away from the group, followed by normal sized Terentateks.
"What the blazes is th---" But the Mandalorian was interrupted by Jel-Kor's hand, which was placed on he surface of his helmet. "Sshhhh... It hasn't taken notice of us yet..." He said, as he walked, slowly, backwards. "Run!"
As the team ran, Jel-Kor just gazed at the beast rampaging towards them. It WAS a Terentatek, only six times the size of a normal one and with specific physical differences. Apparently, such an intense level of dark side energies in the tomb created a genetic mutation in one of the off-springs. A severe genetic mutation.
