Galactus did kind of blast Superman out for three pages on their last encounter. Besides that Superman doesn't use his speed on big beings. He would on Doomsday, Mongoul but when it came to Anti Monitor he got pimp slapped into the moon and left a crater.

I'm just stating Superman doesn't know when to use his super speed in battles. He will use it on Shaggy man when he is the general and smarter and doesn't even feel his hits. He won't try it on a weaker version of galactus. However galactus has had training with fast people lol. Think of how much he tries to swat surfer.

Lol the thing is Galactus should be so much stronger then he is. Like for one he gets knocked down by kicks from Hulk. Celestials on the other hand don't even notice Thor knocking on them. I just think they should make him more like the celestials.
I do agree that Galactus should be portrayed to be much stronger than he is shown on panel, but then again usually if he is in a comic especially when it involves beings from earth he is usually weakened.
a well fed Galactus can teleport Galaxies, destroy, create heralds like the Silver Surfer with a thought.. Think about it a comic with a well fed Galactus , it probably won't be worth the read..
Celestials, and interesting race of beings, their always portrayed to be uber because they make very few appearances.. Nothing short of the IG/Beyonder/HOTI has ever destroyed one. Its another debate altogether if even one celestial is as strong as Galactus..
But then again Thor a few times has damaged Celestials under his own power...
