this list of scientists get into a bunker and get $20 billion from luthor to end superman(they can't fight him themselves). luthor warned them that if they didn't destroy superman, he would destroy earth.

-forge -intuitive builder, problem solver
-madison jeffries -technoformer
-Takashi Matsuya (wiz kid) -technoformer
-bolivar trask -robotics, programmer

can these mental giants kill superman permanently?

They kill Luthor because it's much easier and get a harsh talking to from Superman.

However if they decided to pool their resources productively the team probably could come up with enough power to "end" Supes.

Maybe they could build a close duplicate of Amazo or something like that. Or a thingy that can get really big and shoot krypton-radiation and is real strong and all that jazz.

then they just create a massive large array of radio transmitters to churn out an energy wave with a signature of K... preventing Superman from coming near the Earth ... then they make it portable and create loads that they plant all around the solar system... Superman gets weak the further away from the Sun he gets... 😄
