Most powerful and obvious Superman ripoff

Hyperion is the most obvious Superman ripoff IMO.

Majestic, Apollo, Hyprion, Count Nefaria, Sentry, Omni-man, Invincible, Gladiator, Supreme, Dynamo [ the dad from dynamo5] .

they all but supreme fall abit short.

Superman came out a few years before captian marvel. At the time superman could jump high (he could not fly) and he had super strength, not godly strength.

captian marvel came out a few years later.

1 the strength of herc (lesser god) well above superman strength at the time

2 he possosed god like abilities where superman was a mere super human type on a much lower scale then cap.

3 captian marvel had a bald arch enemy before superman did.

4 captian marvel had a hero family before supes did, mary and cap junior

5 captian marvel flew before superman did.

in a nut shell Fawcett comics did get the idea of captian marvel from supes, but then again so did every power house in comics with a cape.

superman copied sivana with lex luthor

mary marvel and cap junior existed before superboy and supergirl, yet another rip-off.

superman all of a sudden developed the ability to fly.

supermans went from a powerful man to god like strength.

captian marvel was created from the idea of supes. Nothin wrong with that folks.

But coping all of another toons abilities cause your characters abilities "SUCK". Coping all their arch enemies , coping all their allies with carbon copies.

thats horrible. Never the less im glad the superman and cap have made it this long they are both kool comic book characters.

Dictionary is there for you to use it.

As for Superman: he isent the first character sporting a cape, or a skin tigh costume, or a secret identity, or an emblem. His most basic powerset doesnt scream any originality either.

Keep that in mind.
