Partly because I don't have Live yet, partly because I don't really have a desire to get Live...any experience I've had with it at friends' places has been underwhelming, and I'm not into shooters enough to justify it. Islam is dangerous, why can't people understand? It's like the Dark Side in Star Wars... Makes you evil, while you think you are fighting for some greater force... It's terrible.

Ms. Kadabra, please understand that I am a Christian telling you this, but not every Muslim sets out to do evil things believing they are good. While I disagree strongly with their religion and have very little respect for the way the Middle East in general is run, I have had many Arabic instructors who were Muslims that were friendly, good-natured people that were happy to explain their religion, but never pressed anyone to convert. They liked being in America and found it a good place to balance their heritage with adapting. In high school, I had a good friend who was Muslim and she was the most peaceful person I have yet to meet-- no enemies, very soft-spoken and gentle.

I would much rather the world embrace Christianity, but as a Christian, I have to expect to be in the minority eventually. Yet we are still called by God to love and respect everyone and pray for them.

I made a point to say it because it seems here Christians have a bad reputation as being close-minded and intolerant, and I on the other hand enjoy learning about other religions.

I also mentioned it because I am not a Muslim and cannot be a representative of that religion. It was just to stress the point that it's retelling my own personal experience.

Do you just read what you want to read? lol. I never said in that post that anyone should be Christian. I was saying that I cannot be a direct representative of Islam because I am not a Muslim, much like you cannot be a direct representative of Islam because you are not a Muslim.
