She sighed and looked up into his eyes. "Vrix, if there is a reason for your hesitation then tell me. Because what I'm getting from you right now is that you dont want to be with me. I love you with all my heart. But if you dont feel the same then tell me." She pulled out of his arms and ripped open the tip of one of the bags, pouring a little into a glass and mixing it in with a little bit of wine. She poured him a glass and set in on the table for him.
Steph closed her eyes and held him close. "I'm so scared for her."

She smiled and kissed him softly. "Ok... Just making sure. You were acting a little strange back there." She sat down on the bed and took a sip of her wine. "I've missed you very much... I thought that when you said goodbye in the park, I'd never see you again."

A few hours/minutes earlier, in the park.
Vrix kissed Kiki, then pulled away a final time. "No-one must know I'm back yet, or my head will roll." He chukled and smiled under the moonlight. "I will go but know I will never be far away. Vrix disappeared and re-appeared in an alley-way opposite the park.

Vrix took off his jacket, revealing his considerable weapon stockpile on his personage and placed it on a chair, then he took off the armour jacket and put most of his weapons on the ground.
Vrix shook his head. "I said I'd be near-by... But I changed my mind." He took Kiki in his arms and began to slowly kiss her neck, then her shoulder. "I want to be nearer than that and to hell with the prince." He ran his tongue over her neck.

As Jason rounded the corner he saw Lich barely kneeling next to the baby. Even for a creature that doesn't need to breathe, Jason could notice heavy upheavals of his chest cavity. The child seemed to be either unconcious or in a deep sleep. Muttering under his breath he began to stand back on his feet and continue. Lich was slowly pulling away violet fumes and smoke from the babies orifice. With every inch that exited he winced and spased(sp?) with pain. Finally when Jason was close enough the last of the purple smoke was contained in a sphere. Without turning to Jason , Lich spoke, "by the foot of the bed, their is a strange looking glass container," he turned looking Jason in the eyes, his eyes straining to stay focused, "open it."
jason stared at lich for a moment, then at the baby. he turned back to lich and changed his expression to one of curiosity. "ooooooooo... kay?"
he bent over and reached for the container. he held it close to his face and peered at it. "what's in it?"

Suddenly the purple orb Lich was holding skims right past Jason's cheek and into the box. A fraction of a second later Lich slams the container shut scratching Jason's nose. The clear container begins to shake and becomes opaque. Lich pants and nearly collapses on top of the container. "The baby is cured of her possession. I can remove the curse but I feel it is not my place to do so. Also," He regained his balance and he seemed to be able to breathe easy again, "I have identified the danger, his motives, and why he has come back. However, the information I posses I can not pass on to you. I must send you back to the others to let them know the child is fine. But when you have the opportunity to speak to the mother alone, give her this letter" Lich pulled a tanish envelope out of his sleeve that was sealed with a strange looking wax, "the envelope will open when her breath, and her breath alone, touches the wax. Do not try to open it, the contents will not reveal themselves to you." As Lich gave Jason the letter, he pushed him to where he fell backwards. However instead of hitting the floor, Jason continued to fall and watch as Lich shrunk in size and faded away.
He landed with a thump around Steph's bed with the letter tightly clutched within his hand.

Kiki sighed and kissed his chest, her hair ruffled and messy and the bottle of wine empty. "I missed this." She smiled and wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest.
jason slowly woke up from falling. he grunted heavily and slid the envelope into his pocket. as he began to sit up the rifle strapped to his back discharged. "sh**!" the bullet recoched around the room before finally embedding itself into the wall. he stood up fully and looked between them. his mouth went agape as he searched for an explanation. "uhh, i still had business with lich and yes this is from him, but i cant give it to you right now." before he could say more he smashed through the door and burst down the hall, tripping twice
