Its perfectly normal for people to turn to their friends in times of trouble, especially when they are on the Internet. There remains a distance which helps the person who is getting the info off their chest as they can fell more open- its like writing in a diary.

We are a community here on KMC...even though we don't all get on all the time or even know everyone...however thats not so different from any community is it?

Yeah, my grandfather passed away due to cancer a few weeks ago. It was incredibly devastating to us all, including me. He was like a father to me, and possibly the most of a father I've ever truly had.
So I understand what you're going through, and I hope everything turns out alright.
