I seriously think Batman could upgrade even more. I mean with his money, he could have a suit like Tony Stark - he'd save a lot of time healing broken bones.
And he's ninja trained. He should carry a sword; that could be very threatening when used against a perp.
To the suit; Batman doesn't accept crutches.
To the sword; Batman takes entirely nonlethal approaches.
also, given that the black panther's vibranium-weave costume made him effectively bulletproof [as vibranium and the transference of kinetic energy don't mesh well,] wouldn't a pure vibranium stick just stop once it hit something? not bounce or anything. a unique blend of vibranium and steel, like captain america's shield, in baton-form might be a "better" weapon; but since no replicas of that unique combo have ever been created, i suppose that's impossible. and unnecessary.

Hasn't he used guns ad swords in the past? Not to kill of course, but against foes who wouldn't die merely from a blade. I'm pretty sure in some of his earlier stuff he used guns ✅

Only once have I seen Batman pull up a gun & kill someone 😱 ( yes it's true)
It was in Cosmic Odyssey. Cornered in a sewer and getting beaten to death by one of Darkseid's foot soldiers, he got ahold of the alien's handgun, gave a warning( which was ignored) and blasted him dead. Only to get out of there alive would he do it.
That guy came back later as a possessed zombie, working for the Anti-Life Equation, so not a full death notch on Bruce's belt.
Funny coincidence - that same year, Superman killed the alternate universe General Zod & his henchmen with kryptonite from that world, when he felt they couldn't be stopped any other way. But it plagued his conscience for years afterward...
Bruce & Clark both resorting to lethal means in the same year. Must have been the presence of Jim Starlin at DC at the time.
Hows about this propaganda comic??? Does this count as cannon or not?

So legacy with guns:
Killed his parents
Created a slave of un-life
Huh . . .
I was going to make a looooong post regarding Batman and his stand on guns. I was planning to include scans....but I change my mind.
I remember that I had store a very good article in my files three years ago.
The blog is old but really will give insights on Bruce Wayne/Batman feelings on guns.
This was compile Pre-IC. Enjoy.
