The Celestials vs ???

What if the ENTIRE race of celestials went gone rogue and were determined to destroy the 616 universe.

Who or what could stop them?

Is Scathan included? If not, couldn't Eternity stop them?

If he is, isn't LT the only one that 'could'?

scathan is included.

Based on you comment that Scathan is included then imo nothing below LT preferebly above based on his one showing and the Handbook Scathan is above LT how laugable it may be.

Hey Boo 🙂

As he is included, doesn't that mean that no-one besides The Living Tribunal has the power.

I'm not sure if the Scathan thing means that Scathan = LT, or Scathan > LT.

Either way, LT ftw/ stalemate.

Scathan with TOAA's backing, nothing would stop him, not even LT.

A wielder of the Infinity gauntlet?
A user of the HOTU?
Maybe a starbrand user?

Thanos with the HOTU stomps anybody.

doesn't exist anymore, friend

living tribunal and scathan...imo they =

Doesn't exist anymore, but hey, he would have win! 😛

So... Is this fair to say that LT + Eternity would win?

Thanos w/Heart of the Infinite was Thanos at his highest. Of course, written by Starlin. Some of it to me didn't make sense. TOAA needed to use Thanos to fix a flaw. Wow. His creation is the Living Tribunal. That issue made Thanos shine

In regards to LT and Eternity vs Celestials and Scathan. Eternity should be able to defeat his 'creations'. Ah, then who made Scathan and wat about the one Celestial who was born in the Black Galaxy.

Do u think LT=Scathan or Scathan>LT

I thought Eternity > Celestials (Except Scathan).

Another theory could be Eternity > Scathan/ Celestials, but for the purpose of that one story, Eternity < Scathan, because TOAA used Scathan as he used Thanos w/ HOTI.

Any sense to this my friend?

EDIT: I know Scathan only appeared in that one story, but for the purpose of the Celestials origins, Eternity must've created Scathan. Am i right? Not so sure.

In the GOTG arc it was suggested that Scathan was working on behalf of the supreme OAA. If that's true, no one but TOAA could stop them.

GOTG was cancelled too soon, my friends

Rumors persisted Scathan was part of the Beyonders. For the books, Scathan the Approver is a Celestial

For those issues, Scathan>Eternity/HawkGod/Beyonder and IMO, LT's equal. Scathan used the Celestial muzzle on the godlike Protege and then LT sealed the deal

Celestials are wondrous. Always good to guess who made them. If Eternity really made the Celestial race, wat about the Blue Celestial born in the Black Galaxy

I'm just trying to understand more about them to be honest 🙂

I assumed Eternity created them, but as for the Blue Celestial from the Black Galaxy, i'm not so sure.

What's your theory pal? 🙂

I have always liked the 'energy beings' encased in armour theory. The reference about Eternity thru meditation was vague, but its in the books

I like ppl guessing who they are, where they are from. Its adds to the legacy

I like thinking Eternity created them.

Mostly because i want to think that Eternity has actually done something good for a change. Instead of always being written to be a cosmic punchbag.

Eternity created the Celestials,
and it wouldn't surprise me if Eternity created Scathan.
Eternity has created other beings that have surpassed him power.
Look at Wanda for crying out loud,
simple mutant once tore down the entire Omniverse.

Anywho, Eternity/Infinity being below anything inside them is ridiculous imo,
because Eternity/Infinity embody everything withIN them,
including the powers of everyone withIN them, that's part of them.

Its a shame the writers make Eternity out to a be jobber

He's very powerful

That's what i was thinking, i couldn't quite get my head around how Eternity, being all that is, could not have control and authority over everything inside him.
I figured Eternity created Scathan, and then TOAA used Scathan as a vessel to 'get the job done', ala Thanos.
Also, i like to think that Scathan still exists, but at the power of the average Celestial, rather than The Living Tribunal.
