Though I think the JLA/Avengers fight between the two was not well done (mostly because it was to short), its not totally implausible. Stopping Mjolnir has become overrated in recent days. Everyone seems to be getting their turn. What should not have happened is when they made Thor run through superman's heat vision to try and land a melee hit when he could have just absorbed the blast. He did it with Hyperion. Why not superman? http://i388.photobucket.com/albums/oo326/OneDumbG0/Thor%20Fights/ThorvsHyperion02.jpg
Or he could have at least blocked it like with Neferia. http://i388.photobucket.com/albums/oo326/OneDumbG0/Thor%20Fights/ThorvsCountNefaria05.jpg
I guess DC would have never allowed their best hero to go down. Its not like I dont think superman could have won. He is more than capable. But not like that. Plus if you have the two most powerful heroes of Marvel and DC at your disposal a more epic fight is in order.

Damn Quan... Dum Dum doesn't even debate on high powered beings aka Glads and Supes but I have to admit, he just owned you.Supes isn't Glads though.
Now someone has to prove that Supes can "combat" at light speed.
Glads threw something at Thor and flew at him while he was hitting the debris showing he does indeed have the reflexes necessary. The only reason he was ko'd was because he reverted back to a human.
You act like you never saw this before and since I have already explained myself I have no idea why you claimed I was just owned. You clearly lack the ability to comprehend my posts as well.

Marvel and DC obviously disagree with you...seeing as they approved a story where Superman was shown to be unworthy.
That doesn't mean that I have to agree with it.
Ironman almost dropped Superman with a blast of repulsor ray in that story. Do I suppose to believe that as well?
IMO... Superman could lift the hammer.
@Quan...
I seen the feat before, we actually discussed it. I'm just saying... Dum Dum did pretty good at countering your argument.

That was after his fight with Thor, when he could barely stand or talk....I see nothing wrong with Ironman hurting a weakened Superman.
Originally posted by carver9No, he didn't as Thor doesn't revert back to a human being and we see Thor's reflexes are good enough to stop the debris before it hits him. Had Gladiator been able to overwhelm him with speed he wouldn't have needed the debris to buy him the time to hit Thor.
Read above.

that depends, if you believe one thing in that story, you should believe everything in that story. so if you like going, mine goes all the way to 11!!!!!, then you should also accept the fact that Ironman has enough firepower in that tin can suit armor of his to drop superman.
😈
