Bruce Li and Voice acting

If Bruce Li was supposed to be Bruce Lee's lookalike, then why couldn't they give him a voice similar to Bruce Lee's. I did not like his at all. Dragon Lee had some luck with it but not Bruce Li. The only films that I know that came close to this is The Young Bruce Lee, The new game of Death, and The Dragon Story.
