I admit that Jax looks different from his usual appearances in the Mortal Kombat games, but he still keeps his fighting style.

Catwoman's design is pretty nice.

I'm really not diggin the SMG or the missiles though.. I'd like some MK2 style jax to come back

Have you tried it on the Kombo Challenge?
I only played that once and it was because I entered by accident and left straight away. Does it tell you there?

Yeah. The double ground pound is Pro Move and the Kombo Challenge tells you how to do everyone's Pro Move but it's pretty challenging.

I tried it with joker recently. I didn't know what i was doing 🤪

I managed to pass on 3 of them though 🙂

The first 4 or 5 in kombo challenge for most characters are pretty easy but I hate the big long ones, gave up on them most of the time.

Superman's double ground pound is ridiculous, makes it so easy to win against any one. If you can constantly do it with out fail all you have to do is knock them down and repeat it, after the first one it's impossible to get up in time to avoid another one.

That's what pisses me off with most people who play as super man 😠
But if your the falsh its very easy to stop him from doing that. Just get your dash move to work and your in the driver seat 😄

I think Flash's infinity dash combo annoys me more than Superman's ground pound. Although it's not as effective since you can use the breakers to stop the dash.

Question.

when you do the combo Challengs what do you do when the Icon is pointing Diagonal? I did everything for ever ycharacter EXCEPT the ones with diagonal directions.

My friend told me that means to move the left stick up in that direction.

Well thats what I figured at first, but it just doesnt seem to work.

Well that's probably becuase just like all the others, it has to be done at a certain momment. Even the most simple moves they can give you in the combo challenge need to be done at the right time.
I'm gonna look more into it tonight, but the left stick is the best explanation. (maybe you have to steady it exactly)

That is what it means, it's just awkward to achieve this half way through a combo.

well.. if its up / angle towards the opponent..

you jump towards the opponent

One of you guys need to play me

I've been playing this recently. I was very surprised with how much i've been enjoying it. I do miss the fatalities but i like how the combat is more focused around super abilities than combo's. The only problem i've been having, which has hurt the game alot for me is the combos. The controls seem unresponsive at times. Chaining combos together is too unforgiving. You have to be dead on with your timing and when the controls are unresponsive it makes the effort frustrating. I also don't like how you have to switch to the D-pad in order to jump. Whenever i use the D-pad it seems a bit easier to string combos together but the D-pad on the 360 is not made for fighting games, shit, it doesn't matter what game, that D-pad is cumbersome in general. If i have to use it for anything other than switching inventory or accessing my HUD it is a pain to use. Anyone else have that problem?

I hear ya, but for some reason, using the d-pad's just a necessity for me when it comes to fighting games (regardless of the console/controller). Like, no matter what, and the control stick didn't exactly help me with this game's combos any better, so screw the Kombo Challenge.
Hate to admit it, but that just might be easier on the PS3 version.

YEAH, dude, i can see this game kicking ass on the Ps3. Christ, i miss that controller. 🙁

You're right, too about the D-pad. you can't play a console fighter without a d-pad. The only one that got away with it, in my opinion, was Soul Calibur. Damn, thats it i'm so buying a ps3.

I'm no DC historian so I was just wondering, is the storyline in this game similar any storylines in the DC comics?

Not to my knowledge closest thing I can think of would be Marvel vs. DC but even that was way different.
