The fighting system is holding MK back right now. The adventure modes have been good, kept people playing longer, they have taken chances by killing off characters, wont see SF doing that but the fighting isnt fluid enough. If they sort that out I could see MK being a big game again. I play They are going in the right step with the DC fighting know.

Mortal kombat has never been about fluidity, it's always been about gratuitous violence. if they try to make it some sort of soul calibur or street fighter clone, they'll lose what made mortal kombat games great in the first place.
also, the powers were explained in MK vs DC. i don't see what the big deal is.

They can have good gameplay and violence. MK would be my second fighting to go to.
Joker in the game was good I thought. He had some funny shit.
Nemesis I think he means they don't match styles, because Ledgers Joker wouldn't do the stuff MK Joker done.

Usually it's because a game sucks that causes it to die a reprieve is unheard of, MK has had plenty of chances to try and be good and yet it's never taken them up, but I'm not surprised when it's challenged by superior fighters like Street Fighter or MvsC2.

I just have to wonder how it will continue to "sell well" when they keep making failure upon failure, although I guess it's the same deal with Sonic, nostalgia and fans are the only things keeping him alive right now, same could be said for MK.
