Compaq Laptop Weirdness

Ok.. occasionally when I'm on my laptop I press a key and it makes my laptop act funny..

Things it does:

The Caps lock works in an opposite way to how it should... meaning I have to turn it on to type in lower case.. and vice versa

If I press the arrow keys to move the cursor over my words it automatically highlights them..

and every link I click opens in a new window..

this is soo annoying, because I don't know how to get it to stop and I always have to shut down the laptop and restart it to get it to go away.. which is very annoying if I'm working.

I hope someone can tell me what key it is that I press and also how to reverse it once I've done it. 😬

It sounds more like a form of spyware, then it anything else. You scanned your computer for said problems yet?

This might be useless but check again your settings. Maybe there is soemthing there.
