General G's poems and others

Alright, I am rather new at this, this is actually my first, I came and got tips from King of Blades first and he even checked it over for me being it was my first one, thanks again. I am rather proud of my first one, it is about my love:

Her voice is a peaceful song of beauty
Affecting all within its vast range

It doth fills the air surrounding
like the Robin so angelic in the early morn'
With a sound that is naught but astounding
her voice is angelic even in scorn

The verbal lashing is deserved
But I cannot keep the smile from forming
For her voice is forever being preserved
Her anger slowly fading
'I love you' she says
'I know' comes the response

I gaze her in her pearl-like eyes
Asking for no forgiveness
But silently receive it out of habit
'I love you' I say
'I know' comes her response'

Why what?
I think he doesn't like it.

No, I would guess not. It was my attempt, I am proud of it for my first one.

Your poem was beautiful, please grace us with more. In the meanwhile, this is for you.

Waking noises of war
There lies me shattered in the fray
So goes on the day.

Perturbing one’s sleep
Silent rustling waters
Lap against the rock.

Who yells for the boy
Falling leaves to his feet
Awakening dies

Rapid scribbling
With dark coats of lead and pain
A message for you.

Go with the wind’s grace
Against the current of man
Live long and prosper.
