There are some who believe Surfer can beat Tenebrious and Aegis. Even tho it was clearly a plot device win. This thread is spite how ever. Validus is skyfather. And not the low end. He eats Precrisis Daxamites and Kryptonians for lunch.

How fast was Validus? I've never read much PC stuff except for Action Comics '61-'63 run.
