Scythe.
I know what you mean.
I am guilty of trying to do it....but I try very hard not to try to convert people to my religion. I only talk about my religion at work IF asked. No need to go overboard and make everybody praise Jeebus.
Also, I hate it when vegans/vegetarians play their lame self righteous games. I have only run into two of those types...so I don't think its common. I argue the point, always, that humans evolved off of a 85% or more diet on MEAT! MEAT MEAT MEAT MEAT! "Put it in a bun and EAT EAT EAT!"
"Oh, its healthier for you. Don't any form of meat."
F*ck no. That is wrong. When they feel lethargic and/or anemic, I am lifting heavy ass weights...because I CAN! NEE NARS! 😛
And the sarcasm comment...yeah...there is a time and place for sarcasm...I haven't learned that perfectly, yet. 🙁

Yes. We're all guilty of trying out our conversion skills, however those who do it at every convo annoy me.
Yes, we were designed to eat meat. It holds certain vitamins that we need.
And yes, sarcasm always has a time and place, but it has an end and a stop.

No, I was serious. I get the difference between small talk and a debate. I don't get the difference between a debate and a conversion process.
Sometimes (and you and I are both guilty of this), people debate not to convert each other because both parties know that they are right and no argument will dissuade them, they simply argue for the sake of argument...could be a form of entertainment. It is for me.
